Arab Renaissance for Democracy and Development (ARDD)- Legal Aid participates in United Nations Special Mission in Libya’s women and children protection learning trip

Amman, Jordan- On September 6th-10th 2015, ARDD – Legal Aid along with Migrate and the National Council for Family Affairs (NCFA) participated in United Nations Special Mission in Libya’s (UNSMIL) learning trip in Jordan. The study tour focused on women and children’s rights and protections under Jordanian law and how these rights are enforced. The sessions also served as a platform to exchange learning among Jordanian state institutions, their Libyan counterparts and Jordanian civil society organizations. The UNSMIL study tour participants included members of the Libyan government and civil society along with representatives from Migrate, National Council for Family Affairs and both ARDD-Legal Aid’s Gender Unit Manager and Women Access to Justice Project Manager.
