Arab Renaissance for Democracy and Development

Development and Human Rights

The Center for Renaissance works to integrate a human rights-based approach with the best practices followed around the world to deal with the dominant intellectual streams related to issues of development and humanitarian response.

In-depth and detailed research guarantees that light will be shed on the suffering of vulnerable people, such as women, youth, and refugees, and give priority to discussions of development in its many forms: economic, social, and especially the education sector which is critical for future change in the region. Education works as a deterrent to chauvinism, racism, and sectarianism, while creating enlightened citizens in order to uproot hatred and ignorance; two of the main reasons for the conflicts facing the Middle East and North Africa.
