“Youth Club for Reviving of Philosophy” starts preparing trainers for the training program


ARDD held the first sessions of preparing the trainers of the training program on philosophy education for youth in cooperation with the Department of Philosophy, University of Jordan, which will be implemented in most of the Jordanian governorates during the current year 2019.

The session, which was moderated by Dr. Towfic Shomar on Saturday, Jan 12th, in the presence of trainers from the department of philosophy in the university, focused on training topics:

Developing the capacity for accountability, comparison and understanding building, the skill of building and asking the question, critical thinking, the role of philosophy in intellectual renaissance, building arguments and disassociation of convictions, building arguments and dismantling convictions, Arab and European philosophy, cognitive perception.

The “Youth Club for Reviving of Philosophy” was established in conjunction with the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the ARDD and the establishment of its intellectual center, which includes various activities and events related to the philosophical culture.
