Tuesday, October 28, 2014

The Arab Renaissance for Democracy and Development - ARDD, a local Jordanian NGO working closely with various refugees group in Jordan; says it is important to closely track the development of the reemerging Iraqi crises and monitor the needs of the newly displaced Iraqis either internally or externally. Many Iraqi families expressed their need to safe refuge when asked about their needs during field visits, they also praised the Jordanian government immediate response to their needs through providing immediate help and protection. ARDD urges the international community to continue their support to the government of Jordan in its relentless efforts to help refugees. It is imperative that after escaping widespread violence and persecution these refugees are welcomed and provided for. ARDD calls upon the local and international civil society to provide all possible support to refugees living in Jordan. With winter approaching, refugee’s needs are increasing and for them to survive, immediate action is necessary.
