Internship Program

Our internship program at the Arab Renaissance for Democracy and Development (ARDD), offers a unique opportunity for BA/ MA students and graduates.

Through hands-on experience with a local Jordanian NGO, and its access to key audiences – such as government officials, civil society, traditional and new media and academia – you’ll gain invaluable insights while actively contributing at bridging the gap between policymakers and both the academic community and the public at large.

Objectives and Goals: Our internship program aims to foster new perspectives and policy initiatives to tackle the pressing challenges faced by the Arab world including new voices in the policymaking process.

Programmatic Areas:

  • Women´s Access to Justice (WAJ)
  • Good Governance: Participation and Partnerships (RGPP)
  • Protection and Relief: (P & R)
  • Education
  • Sustainable Livelihoods and Economic Well-Being

 

Duration: Minimum 3 months, up to 6 months.

Eligibility: BA/ MA students and graduates in fields such as International Relations, Political Sciences, Humanitarian and Development Studies, Refugees Issues, Gender Studies, Law, Economy, Social Studies, Education Studies and Middle Eastern Studies.

Applicants must possess strong proficiency in English, a vital skill for effective engagement in our work setting. Furthermore, while not compulsory, proficiency in Arabic is greatly valued and considered an asset.
