The organizations of the members of the Jordan National NGOs Forume (JONAF) in the south hosted a delegation that included the Norwegian ambassador to the Kingdom, Espen Lindbäck, during an inspection tour organized by ARDD the Coordinator of the Coalition, in partnership with the UN Women IN Jordan, during which several discussion took place about the role of local organizations in empowering local communities and the importance of implementing #JONAP for Security Council Resolution 1325 on Women, Security, and Peace in Jordan.
The visit included a meeting at the Beit Al-Ward Association in Aqaba with leaders and representatives of JONAF members: Al Nawaya Al Hassana Association, the Aqaba Women’s Association, the Tafila Women’s Association, the Ladies of Disa Villages Association, Al-Jawhara Charitable Association, and the Ghor Haditha Charitable Women’s Association, who emphasized the importance of local humanitarian action.
