Amman – November 9, 2020 The Arab Renaissance Organization for Democracy and Development (ARD) celebrated the winners of the #AlNahdaYouth Social Journalism Contes, at a ceremony where the winners of Contest’s second edition which was launched in August 2020, were announced.
The first prize of 500 euros was awarded to Omar Fawaz Youssef Al-for his article (Seeds of Social Peace in the Hands of Syrian Youth). The article addressed an important topic and was distinguished by good writing and research.The second prize of 300 euros was awarded to Ghada Hussam Ahmed Khanfar for her article (The Corona Crisis and Child Labor), which dealt with important societal dimensions of the current crisis, and the third prize of 200 euros was awarded to Haneen Al Shawabkeh for her article (Women Behind Bars), which looks at an important topic related to women’s debt and gender justice
