In 2018, the Arab Renaissance for Democracy and Development (ARDD) established its Question of Palestine Program (QoP) in response to the need for a platform, in the Arab region, to discuss aspects of the unresolved Israeli-Palestinian conflict, including the settler-colonial occupation and apartheid in Palestine and the protracted Palestinian refugee situation. The Global Network (of Experts) for the Question of Palestine (GNQP) plays an integral role within the QoP Program; a coalition of renowned Palestinian, regional, and international experts striving to promote justice for Palestine and Palestinians through a rights-based, inclusive, participatory, fact-based, multi-stakeholder approach, with the interests and priorities of Palestinians at the center. The GNQP supports the Palestinian and Arab struggle against the Israeli settler-colonial project, occupation, and apartheid and for the realization of Palestinian rights, including the rights to return, restitution and compensation. Through ARDD, the GNQP produces statements and policy briefs on pressing issues, analysis, and opportunities to advance the knowledge and collective action on the Question of Palestine, with an emphasis on regional ownership of each initiative.
