Inaas Slimi is a Research Officer with a focus on legal aspects related to Palestine, refugees, migration and the Arab diaspora. She holds a BA in international and European Union law from the University of Groningen and a MA in constitutional and administrative law from the University of Amsterdam. She has written on the legal implications pertaining to disputes of the right to self-determination and international protection for Palestinian refugees in the MENA region, and conducted a comparative law study on the interpretation of Article 1D of the 1951 Refugee Convention in the Netherlands, the European Union and internationally. Prior to joining ARDD, she assisted the Ethics Office of UNRWA in the agency-wide implementation of sexual exploitation and abuse and sexual harassment policies.
