Ruba Ahmad is the current Research Manager of Al Nahda Center at the Arab Renaissance for Democracy and Development (ARDD) and possesses over six years of experience in the humanitarian and development sector in Jordan and the region. She has experience working in policy, research, and advocacy within INGOs, UN Agencies, and is now with ARDD working towards the continued development of localized knowledge production and context-based advocacy. Having taken part in policy discussions at the local, national, and global levels, she works to contribute to human rights, people-centered dialogue, as well as to the implementation of socio-economic change. She has an academic background in Political Science and Sociology, and previously held the positions of Policy Reporting Assistant at UNHCR; Policy, Research, Advocacy Officer at ActionAid; and Human Rights Based Approach Trainer at Global Platform Jordan.
