Prosperity and Livelihoods

No Arab nation can truly develop economic growth if it leaves its refugee and migration populations behind and does not tackle gender equality, as the economy is built on stability, security, and openness to providing all minds the opportunity to contribute towards society.

ARDD strives to generate economic opportunities, tackle unemployment among women and youth and generate small to medium-sized enterprises through collaboration with civil society and the private sector partners and advocating for policies which encourage entrepreneurship.

ARDD believes long term economic development is central to employment we work in ‘market solidarity’ with the private sector to encourage the hiring and training of jobless citizens, migrants, and refugees through offering training opportunities such as learning a trade.

As part of our Generating Economic Empowerment through Market Solidarity (GEMS) strategy ARDD has launched Maqha AlNahda, a business incubator that acts as an intermediate community institution with onsite training facilities, legal support and soft skills guidance in Amman for the purpose of promoting economic and human development for all.
