Promote enhanced NGOs Fora collective action at field level during the COVID-19 Response

The project comes in line with the Jordanian National NGOs Forum (JONAF) ongoing COVID-19 response plan, and as part of the Forum’s coordinator The Arab Renaissance for Democracy and Development (ARDD) recovery and relief program and efforts. The project is implemented by ARDD in collaboration with ICVA during June 2020 till December 2020, engaging the coalitions’ members in Jordan, to reinforcing localization in Jordan through all stages of response and beyond the Covid-19 Pandemic.

Through the project, JONAF members will work together to enhance the JONAf capacities to be able to better coordinate among themselves, and voice the needs of their community in times of crisis. JONAF members will also acquire an enhanced understanding for the first stage of the emergency response to COVID-19 in Jordan, in order to increase responsiveness and mobilization of its members to address the issues vulnerable communities in Jordan will face in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The project also works on strengthening the coordination and information exchange process between JONAF members, enhancing their advocacy efforts, providing shared service for NGO community, and supporting development of Jordanian civil society abilities in relief work.
